spent
the weekend with judith at her parents’ place down south, in venlo.
highlights of the weekend include driving up to Thermaalbad Arcen and
relaxing in the outdoor hotsprings with geriatric german tourists. the
outing was spur of the moment, so i had to borrow collie’s (jud’s dad)
swim trunks, circa 1960 (no joke). imagine creme-hued short-shorts (a
la middle school P.E. gym shorts) with a 7inch inseam that turn
transluscent the moment they make contact with liquid. the only thing
concealing my pistachios was faux hawaiin design and
carelessly-stitched-together palm trees giving shade to my “roots”.
chances are you know what i’m talking about–in conclusion, the shorts
were a bit too european, even for europe. but it was great. and it’s
always cool to get wasted with collie and talk about music, get stuffed
off of marjolijn’s (jud’s mom) cooking and alcohol, and taking a break
from the relatively frenetic pace of amsterdam life for some southern
hospitality.here are some dates to keep in mind:
Paris: march 27th-april 6th
London: next weekend (?)
LA: may 14th-TBD
New York: may 18th-25th
China, Japan, & Korea: june-july 2005let’s interface.

looks cold.
strike a pose !
My friends and family were complaining how COLD it was in Holland last week… Thank God I wasn’t in Holland when it was -12C!!!! I’ve seriously never experienced -12C before during the 13 years that I’ve lived there! I hope you at least enjoyed the snow
How is your Dutch coming along? Gaat het wel een beetje?
for a second there, i thought you were standing on the main green.
